Kerry Ketcham, Mary Wandel, Shelley and Steve Dougherty planned the following chemeketan club snowshoe:
Kerry Ketcham will be at the K-Mart lot on Mission at 8:00.
Schedule:
8:00 a.m. Depart K-Mart parking lot (north end) ... car pools encouraged.
8:30 a.m. Oatmeal Bar and coffee provided by Steve and Shelley at their home (30 minutes east of I5).
9:30 a.m. Depart for mountains.
11:00 a.m. Begin snow adventure. Snowshoe or XC Ski, destinations dependent on snow conditions. (Here is a link to my recent maxwell butte trip/maps) We will match skill/and fitness levels so there will be something for everyone.
3:00 p.m. End snow adventure.
5:00 p.m. Potluck dinner at the Dougherty's home. We want to encourage participants to bring a crockpot main dish, salad, bread, ordesert. Please email Shelley (shellene11@gmail.com) with your guestcount and what you plan to bring so that she can insure a proper balance in the menu. Dishes and utensils provided. Bring your own beverage.
